Good fun loving and supporting college and culture.

Tips: Ireland is a quiet and peaceful place with fewer people and a healthy work-life balance. There are very less people here as compared to India and the climate is quite clean. In order to get a scholarship you need to apply very early like in January for the fall intake, that's why I don't have a scholarship. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality of education here.

Likes (Post study jobs): UCD has an option for some courses in that they can opt for an internship instead of a thesis in the final term, which makes it easy for students to gain experience and find jobs later on. Also, the career support at UCD is very good and a lot of companies are in their network.

Dislikes (Part time work): The demand for part-time is very high, not too much available. So it is difficult to secure a part-time job here. You need to look and search as much as you can. Managing part-time with study at UCD will not be easy.

It is possible to maintain and balance work life and personal life.

Tips: Students should research thoroughly, and then make up their minds and be fully prepared. Assume that no one will help you, so organize your finances according. This way, you won't worry if you don't secure a part-time job. You will get so many opinions, but you have to decide which is the most helpful one. I am quite satisfied with my experience here.

Likes (Part time work): I prefer part-time work because it offers flexible scheduling which allows me to better balance my work and personal life. Also the extra income helps support my primary income or expenses. Finally, part-time work provides opportunities to develop new skills or maintain existing ones.

Dislikes (Indian Food): I prefer cooking myself because the food in here is tasteless. I tried a lot of different cuisines but none of them matched the taste I was looking for. At some point I thought it was just me but then I realized it was a problem with the food itself.

The college can improve certain aspects of the study module.

Tips: I have been at University College Dublin for a while now. The course load is heavy, and the projects are complicated. It is stressful to balance my coursework with a part-time job. I think the university should reduce the academic load to make it easier for students to succeed. On top of that, finding a part-time job is really hard, and the pay is just enough to get by. To make matters worse, there are a lot of problems with public transportation. I did not acquire any scholarship. Overall, I am satisfied with the experience.

Likes (Post study jobs): I think the scope to get post-study jobs is hard but rewarding. However, finding an employer who will sponsor your visa is very difficult. Also, there is a lot of competition for full-time jobs, as many people are immigrating to Ireland to find work.

UCD, one of the top colleges in Ireland

Tips: The education system is of next level and need to study more in order to pass. I got a sponsorship of 2000 euros and the tuition fee was 20000 euros which is very high. The education is good and there will be more things to learn. It will be difficult to maintain both college and personal life working part-time.

Truly enriching learning experience.

Tips: Great reputation here and very college town vibe as well. Students come here from all across the world and classes can be somewhat experiential as well. Professors are helpful and will almost always take out time to help you out even outside of office hours. I found my first two months really expensive here so learn to budget according to currency conversions especially.

The university is good for professional growth.

Tips: Getting used to the weather and its unpredictability was something that took me more time getting used to as compared to other aspects such as time zones and classes. There is a strong Indian society as well so festivals are celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm. I mostly rely on cooking as eating out here can become reasonably expensive after a point. Professors are great and my experience so far is going well.
