J Form is basically to prove the income of agriculture of the applicant’s parents or guardian. It includes the details of the Rabi crops which include Wheat, Barley, Mustard and Grams. There are different details on a J Form essential for identification and details of produce. The amount of produce and time of transaction are all essential details on the form. A typical J Form includes the following information:
- Farmer's details like name, address, and sometimes the farmer's unique identification number
- Buyer's details like Name and license number of the commission agent or buyer
- Transaction Details:
- Date of sale of crop
- Type and quantity of crop/produce sold
- Quality grade of the produce/crop
- Price per unit of the produce
- Total amount paid to the farmer
- Any fees or charges that have been deducted from the sale amount
- The final or the net amount received by the farmer for their produce.
- The market fee paid to the APMC is based on guidelines.
- Signature of the farmer, buyer, and sometimes a market committee’s representative.
