What is J Form in India for Studying Abroad?
J Form is basically to prove the income of agriculture of the applicant’s parents or guardian. It includes the details of the Rabi crops which include Wheat, Barley, Mustard and Grams. Based on the sale of the Rabi crops, farmers get a receipt which then acts as income proof that they can fund their children to study abroad.
The J Form is an official document issued by commission agents (arthiyas) or buyers to farmers as proof of sale for their agricultural produce in APMC mandis (market where crops are sold). It is a standardised receipt that records the details of the transaction between the farmer and the buyer.

Who is Eligible for the J Form?
Indian applicants who come from an agricultural background and wish to study abroad can prove their income through J Form. The J Form is also applicable for those applicants whose parents are a part of the MSME or small businesses.
