L'Oréal Study Abroad Scholarships - Objective

The L'Oréal Scholarships are aimed at:

  1. Supporting postgraduate business education (MBA and MIM) at select French institutions
  2. Encouraging creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, leadership and diversity among future business leaders
  3. Easing the financial burden of international MBA/Master's tuition for candidates who demonstrate financial need

INSEAD L'Oréal Scholarships

There are two distinct scholarships for the MBA and a MIM degree -

INSEAD L'Oréal Scholarship for MBA only

There is only one such scholarship awarded per MBA intake (only available for Round 1 and Round 2 applicants). It is open to candidates of any nationality who demonstrate creativity, entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to diversity. However, preference is only given to candidates who can show financial need on their end and how this scholarship can help them achieve their dream. Remember - you can only apply after being admitted to the INSEAD MBA program. The financial support that this scholarship typically offers ranges from €20,000 to €25,000.

Note: the scholarship in the December intake is specifically dedicated to a woman candidate; the July intake scholarship is open to all applicants regardless of gender

INSEAD L'Oréal for Youth Scholarship for MIM only

It is a separate scholarship - specifically for INSEAD's Master in Management (MIM) program - not interchangeable with the MBA scholarship above. There is only one such scholarship awarded per year - open to candidates of any nationality who demonstrate financial need and a capacity for creativity/innovation. Also, this award is only open to candidates already admitted to INSEAD's MIM program.

HEC Paris MBA L'Oréal Scholarship

This scholarship is open to all admitted MBA candidates, not restricted by gender. It is awarded based on demonstrated professional accomplishments, leadership potential and ability to foster collaboration and innovation in today's world. Selection requires a 1,500-word essay (on the leadership style that best fosters creativity and innovation) submitted at the same time as the MBA application - not afterwards. The scholarship covers up to €10,000.

Note: Candidates sponsored for more than 50% of tuition by an employer or government are generally ineligible for this scholarship.
