The university provides an equal opportunity to all deserving students. Therefore, it is recommended to visit the campus prior to admission to decide what you want. Post study job opportunities in Mauritius are abundant but very competitive. Salaries are decent, but job hunters may have to wait a bit to find the right opportunity. And, the people of Mauritius seem to be especially fond of Indians, which is very nice. I definitely like the people here. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences here.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There is fast food like pizza and burgers in Mauritius. If you want something nicer or if you are Indian, you need to cook your own food. The university is located in a city, so finding an Indian restaurant and hanging out with your friends there on the weekends is no problem at all.
