University of Amsterdam Scholarships for International Students 2025

Amount: INR 11.19 Lakhs

• Submit the scholarship application form below.
• Upload the following required documents in your Scholarship Application Form:
• Academic records: certified transcripts (and diploma if you have already finished your degree), including your GPA (see selection criteria);
• Two letters of recommendation by a dean, teacher or academic supervisor;
• Letter written by Dean
• Letter of motivation (maximum 500 words) 
• Resume or CV
• Proof of English proficiency 

Tuition and Fees covered

Amount: INR 15.38 Lakhs

• Proof that the admission procedure with Uva has started
• A motivation letter was specifically written for OTS
• Academic transcripts
• Submit UVA Online Scholarship Form 

• Have a non-Dutch nationality.
• Not be eligible for support under the Dutch system of study grants and loans (Studiefinanciering; for more information please refer to DUO.nl). The scholarship office should be notified as soon as possible throughout the academic year of any change in nationality, type of residence permit, and/or possible support via Studiefinanciering.
• Apply to a Master's programme at the UvA for the first time. This Scholarship will not be awarded to candidates who are seeking a second Master's degree at the UvA.
• Be able to comply with Dutch visa regulations as indicated by the Dutch Immigration Service (IND).
• Enrol at the UvA as a full-time student for the academic year and programme for which the scholarship is awarded. 

• Must have submitted a complete application to one of the MSc programmes (see the website of the MSc program for the application and admission procedure)
• Must have been (or will be) admitted for the first time to one of the MSc programs at the UvA
• Must have completed their previous academic program no longer than 3 years ago
• The candidate’s academic records. Students belonging to the top 10% of graduates from their class can apply.
