University of Twente Highlights 2024
University of Twente was founded in 1961 in Netherlands. Since then, the university has been considered as an institution that allows its students and its teachers to grow to their maximum potential. The management and overall operations of the university are carried out by the Executive Board. The Chairman, Vice-Chairman, and rector Magnificus are the three main members of the board. There are faculty boards that handle the working of the various members of the faculty. The Acceptance rate of this university is 51%.
Departments in the university offer UG and PG courses. 5 major departments at the University of Twente are-

4. Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science

In addition to these major faculties, some other courses offered are honors BSc course, ATLAS, and Ph.D. and PDEng.

University of Twente Ranking 2025
University of Twente secured its place in the year 2025 among the top universities in the world with #233 ranking according to the QS. This ranking has seen a declined trend when compared to its past year rank of #210 in 2024.
On the other hand, Shiksha Polpularity Ranking ranked the university at #12 position and THE (Times Higher Education) ranked it at #184 in 2024 at University Ranking.
The University of Twente courses have also secured ranks #11, #8, #9 for its MIM, MS, Others PG courses, respectively.
