It is the not most extravagant of the institutions, but is one of the best at what it does.
Tips: The country is generally welcoming towards Indians and other immigrants. People are sweet and warm. Yes, I did receive an academic scholarship of about 5000 dollars. It was already discounted on my tuition fee at the time of my enrollment based on the marks from the previous qualification.
Likes (Indian Food): The Indian diaspora is very active in New Zealand, and so is the Indian cuisine. So one would not miss out on their favorite Indian food, but mind you, they are generally on the pricier side.
There are a lot of northern Indian cuisines with a few South Indian restaurants in the city of Christchurch, where I lived.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Companies rarely sponsor visas for graduate students for work. Most students rely entirely on the post-study work visa offered by the government after their studies. During this period, if a person finds the experience, pay scale, and other immigration regulations, they could apply for a resident visa.
