UC International College is one of the premium learning institutions of New Zealand. It is a huge institution, with a student strength of over 17,000 from across the globe. This college is a member of the Navitas. It is affiliated with the University of Canterbury.
UCIC programs are conducted on the University of Canterbury campus at Ilam, in Christchurch, New Zealand. Being located on campus enables students to access and enjoy all facilities and services, creating a smoother transition to their degree at the University of Canterbury.
UCIC offers an exclusive pathway to the University of Canterbury undergraduate programs. UCIC offers University Transfer Programmes (UTPs) which are unique in New Zealand. UTPs are equivalent to the University of Canterbury's first year of the bachelor's degree. After successful completion students then pathway to the second year of their degree. It also offers students a pre-university Foundations Studies Certificate and a new Study Abroad option. All of these are delivered in a supportive, nurturing environment right on the University of Canterbury's beautiful campus.
There are several financial aid options available for the students, irrespective of their nationality. There are UC International 1st Year Scholarship and UC College of Engineering International Scholarship. There is also provision for Navitas Family Bursaries, which is applicable when 2 or more students are studying at a Navitas institution. They also offer the Navitas Academic Merit Scholarship to the students. The basic academic infrastructure of the college is really noteworthy. The expert faculty, well-stocked priceless libraries, well-equipped labs, high-tech classrooms, halls, and auditoriums are also to be taken account of.
