• Applicants must hold a minimum bachelor-level qualification in the same field, and some having additional requirements such as relevant work experience.
• Admission to the programme shall be subject to the approval of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Sciences).
• Every applicant shall have fulfilled one of the following conditions:

1. be a graduate and have achieved an average grade of at least B in the relevant 300-level papers;
2. have obtained a Postgraduate Certificate or a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Science with an average grade of at least B;
3. have equivalent alternative qualifications or experience acceptable to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Sciences).

• In considering an applicant's qualifications, regard will be had to the detail of the course of study followed to gain the qualification, as well as the applicant's performance in the programme.

• The study of Advanced Nutrition Practice is for applicants with a relevant undergraduate degree in human nutrition or sport and exercise nutrition, or a background from a related health field, who wish to develop and advance their nutrition skills and develop skills for a career in the practice of nutrition.

Score of 6.5 in the academic module (with no individual band below 6.0).
