Study Abroad: Financial Times has announced the MBA 2025 Business school rankings. The global MBA rankings have 100 universities featured in its list. The rankings were given based on various criteria including salary, career progress, value for money, alumni network, female faculty, international faculty, and many more similar criteria.
The top 2 positions were secured by the Wharton and Columbia in the US followed by IESE in Spain, Insead in France, SDA Bocconi School of Management in Italy, and MIT: Sloan US.
This year, a total of 125 schools participated in the Financial Times MBA 2025 Business school rankings process. To assess the universities, FT surveyed MBA alumni who completed their MBA in 2021. Due to Covid disruption during that period, FT considered schools to have a lower response rate. In the class of 2021, around 6,299 alumni completed the survey which is an overall response rate of 36%. The information was also gathered from schools on newly enrolled students, their current faculty and the latest completed class.
Education consultancy Carrington Crisp completed a survey and found that the most popular sectors included technology and consulting, closely followed by financial services. The graduates rated their MBAs highest for finance and strategy courses, and general management and lowest scores for e-commerce, social and governance topics, law and environmental teaching.
