Coventry University Group, GITAM Ink Agreement For Research Students In India And UK
Under the agreement between GITAM and Coventry University Group, a dual degree PhD program will be offered that will integrate the doctoral scholars with the research network of both institutes.
Study in UK: Coventry University Group has joined forces with the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) to create global opportunities for students in India and the UK through enhanced research and new academic collaboration.
It is being seen as a milestone agreement between the two institutes to boost ties and unlock new avenues for knowledge and innovation sharing.
Professor Richard Dashwood, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research at Coventry University, said, “This collaboration with GITAM reflects our commitment to driving global research excellence with real-world impact. The collaboration will result in a dual PhD degree that will integrate the doctoral scholars into a global network of researchers spanning both institutes. The students will get joint supervision by both institutes, and they will benefit from industry collaborations, access to world-class research infrastructure, and funding opportunities in both countries.
The agreement will allow these institutes to work on projects in key areas such as water and sustainability, agroecology, autonomous systems, future transport, healthcare and life sciences, engineering, virtual and mixed realities, and business and arts and to apply for joint research grants.
