King's College London: Applications Open For Vice-Chancellor’s Awards 2025-26
The King's College London Vice-Chancellor's Awards are for the postgraduate taught courses. It is open to Indian students. The last date to apply for the award is May 31, 2025.
Study in UK: King's College London has announced the new Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for postgraduate study for India-domiciled students. The award is worth £10,000 towards the tuition fee.
There are 30 Vice-Chancellor’s Awards 2025-26 for the full-time postgraduate courses to commence in September 2025 in the following faculties - Social Science & Public Policy, Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care, Natural, Mathematical and Engineering Science, Life Sciences & Medicine, King’s Business School, Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, The Dickson Poon School of Law, and Arts & Humanities.
The total scholarship amount of £10,000 will be split between £5,000 payable in Oct 2025 and another £5,000 payable in January 2026.
Eligibility Criteria for Vice-Chancellor’s Awards 2025-26
The following are the eligibility criteria:
- The applicant should be India-domiciled students.
- They should have an offer of study from King's College London for a postgraduate degree course to commence in September 2025.
- The course should be a full-time programme.
- The applicants should submit applications by April 25, 2025, so that they have the best chance of receiving a decision ahead of the May 31, 2025 deadline.
"Prospective students must have accepted their study offer by 31 May 2025 in order to be eligible to apply for the award. Deposits must be paid by the deadline stated on the offer," says the King's College London statement.
The eligible candidates will be given the opportunity to apply for the award and will be invited to answer a series of questions which the King's faculties will review along with the applicant's academic merits and then select the candidates accordingly.
"The awards will be applied to the selected students’ tuition fee accounts as a fee reduction. They will not be available against any other costs, and no cash equivalent will be offered. Any residual tuition fee liability must be met by the recipient," added the King's statement.
The Princess Royal Visits King's For Official Opening Of Quad
HRH The Princess Royal visited King's for the opening of the Quadrangle (Quad) building at King’s College London. She visited in her role as Chancellor of the University of London. The Quad offer cutting-edge facilities and spaces for King’s Department of Engineering for students and researchers.
Professor Rachel Mills CBE, Senior Vice President (Academic), said, “From sustainable transport to robotics and AI, the Quad building is a hub of interdisciplinary research activity where engineers create solutions for important real-world challenges. We’re proud to be able to demonstrate some of our innovative research to HRH The Princess Royal today.”
Professor Rachel Bearon, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences (NMES), stated, “Today’s visit shows some of the fascinating and vital research taking place. The Quad has given researchers and students fantastic new spaces to experiment in, allowing them to flourish and develop innovative solutions to current and future global challenges.”
