Singapore Management University Launches Free Sustainability And Green Finance Course

Study in Singapore: The Free Sustainability and Green Finance Course at the Singapore Management University is designed for both beginners and seasoned professionals.

Singapore Management University (SMU) has announced an online course titled "Introduction to Sustainability and Sustainable Finance" for Vietnamese professionals. The green economy of Vietnam is expected to grow by $300 billion by 2050. To cater to the increasing demand for professionals, SMU has launched this course.

The university intends to equip Vietnamese professionals, businesses, and aspiring leaders with the necessary tools. The course is 8 to 12 hours in duration and offers a comprehensive foundation for professionals. It is for professionals who want to expand their understanding of corporate sustainability or transition into sustainable finance.

Apart from theoretical knowledge, the program also provides practical skills which are impactful for managers, businesses and individuals. SMU Alumni Navigator Program initiatives connect students with mentors. Moreover, from January 2025, the university is offering scholarships for its Master's program covering up to 40% of the tuition fees.
