History
During 1997, Singapore Management University had emerged as Singapore's third university as the country needed another institution at the university level. The Pioneer Management Team had been employed at SMU Singapore in 1998 which had around 12 members that are also a part of NUS and NTU. The university campus was founded in 2000. By June 2000 the university campus was inaugrated and the SMU Business School was founded and had welcomed around 200 students.
