Q:   Does NTNU accept international students?
A: 

The Norwegian University of Science and Technology is one of the most-sought after universities among international students. Every year thousands of students apply to NTNU from across the Norway and around the world. Currently, NTNU is home to 4,063 international students coming from more than 122 countries around the world. NTNU offers more than 60 Masters programmes in English for international students. All three campuses of NTNU are highly diverse and offer a very vibrant environment for international students. 

Q:   How much does it cost to live in NTNU Trondheim for international students?
A: 

The Norwegian University of Science and Technology does not offer on campus accommodation to international students. Therefore, international students must arrange for their accommodation and housing all by themselves. However, most of the student housing in Trondheim are owned by Student Welfare Housing (Sit). Standard rooms are single rooms in a shared apartment (shared living room, kitchen and bathrooms). The cheapest single rooms start at about NOK 4,300/INR 33.88k, - plus utilities. On average, you should expect to budget for at least NOK 5,500/INR 43.34k, - per month for rent and utilities.

No, the institute does not provide any scholarships to international students. The international students are required to submit proof of funding their entire education before getting admission to NTNU. However, international students can apply for scholarships provided by external funding agencies.
