About NTNU
The Norwegian University of Science and Technology is a public research university based in Trondheim and has campuses in Gjovik and Alesund. Currently, around 43,000 students are enrolled at the institute across its 398 study programmes, that are available across a vast areas of studies, which includes; Humanities, Social Sciences, Economics, Medicine, Health Science, Educational Science, Architecture, Entrepreneurship, Art and Artistic activities, among others. The university's root goes back to 1760 with the foundation of Det Trondhiemske Selskab (Trondheim Academy). A merger in 2016 made NTNU Norway's largest single university.
The institute ranks highly as part of university rankings given by popular publications. The QS World University Rankings 2024 ranked it #292 in the world. Meanwhile, THE ranked it #301-350 in the world.

To get admission to Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Indian students should apply through Official Application Portal. Norwegian University of Science and Technology admission requirements, which comprise previous scores, required GPA, standardised test scores, essays, resumes, SOPs and LORs must be submitted to complete the application process by all Indian applicants.
