Q:   Where can I live while studying at NTNU?
A: 

NTNU does not own any housing residences of its own. But they can live in student villages in Trondheim. These student villages are managed by the Student Welfare Organization (Sit). Most housing are offered to international students enrolled for the Autumn semester. Students who want Sit housing do not need to apply separately. 

Q:   How do I know I am selected for SIT housing at NTNU?
A: 

International students enrolled in the Autumn semester have a higher chance of getting housing via the Student Welfare Organization. Students do not have apply separately for this housing (Sit). If the students are selected, the students will receive a booking code directly from Sit.

As per student's opinoin we can compare the University of Stavanger and NTNU for petroleum engineering as such. 

  • NTNU is currently safer since it is more well known, but grades and your own performance will matter even more. UiS might be more present locally, which is nice.
