Indian students who seek to study in France have a great opportunity through the French government’s initiative - "Regional Choose France Tour 2024".
The initiative was already a success in the previous drives in Ahmedabad and Pune. Now the authorities in Bhubaneswar and Jaipur under the 'Choose France Tour' announced similar opportunities aimed not only at the benefits of students but also at the Indo-France relationship.
Regional Choose France Tour 2024 is a series of educational fairs taking place in major Indian cities.
Registration for the Regional Choose France Tour 2024 can be done on the official website ifindia.in/event/regional-cft-2024. The opportunities are being offered in various education domains including - Business, Management, Engineering, Hospitality & Tourism, Arts, Social Sciences, and French Language. There are 1650+ English-taught programmes in France and students can choose to study in English or French or both.
Institute Francais en Inde has collaborated with institutions like KIIT University- Bhubaneswar, Manipal University- Jaipur, Nirma University, and MIT World Peace University to make the event accessible and participatory for the students.

The opportunities for Indian students particularly for high school graduates under the initiative include various possibilities for advanced studies in France and access to scholarships at prestigious French institutions.

During the tour, Indian students will receive firsthand information about the available programs, covering a broad spectrum of fields such as management, engineering, hospitality, humanities, arts, architecture, and design from representatives of various private institutes, Grandes Ecoles, and top universities.
The initiative is also expected to provide a platform where the educators and academics of both countries can explore potential partnerships.
Students to get free counselling
The educational fairs will be organized by the cultural, scientific, and educational branches of the Embassy of France in India in alliance with Campus France, a French government agency that guides international students seeking higher education in France, also by the Institute Français en Inde (French Institute in India). Campus France will offer free counselling to Indian students on scholarships, visa options, and student life in France.
France offers scholarships to over 500 Indian students every year
French Embassy in India along with French companies and institutions offers scholarships to over 500 meritorious young Indian students interested in studying in France at private or public institutions, according to Campus France India which is a government agency that operates under the French Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
These scholarships are available for graduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and other levels of study in several subject areas. Indian applicants with outstanding academic records have several funding options for their studies in France, added the agency.
