    Tips: I transitioned smoothly from India to Saratov State Medical University Russia without any hassle. I did experience cultural differences as I started living here but warm locals helped me adapt to the culture and norms of the society.     Tips: The transition to college was smooth though there was a cultural shift as I adjusted to new norms and practices. I availed of a merit based scholarship. I am highly satisfied with my university, course and country as they offer quality education, diverse experiences, and ample growth opportunities.
    Likes (Value for money): My day in college is spent attending lectures, participating in practical sessions and dedicating time to study. What I enjoy most about college life is the opportunity to learn new things and engage with peers. The campus organizes events like academic seminars, cultural festivals and sports competitions. The campus also offers various student clubs, including cultural, academic and sports communities, providing students with opportunities to explore different interests.
    Dislikes (Post study jobs): The faculty in my department are highly accessible and approachable, and always ready to assist students through office hours, emails and online platforms. The teaching methodology is unique as it combines interactive lectures case based learning and hands on practical sessions which ensures a well rounded learning experience. The faculty is diverse with professors from various nationalities.

    Tips: Russia is the best and the most affordable country to study in. The educational system is also the best. The Russian language is easy to learn and you can become fluent in 1-2 years. Russian people are very kind and loving. You can also get a scholarship if you score well on your exams. I am quite satisfied with my university.
    Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty at this university are very helpful. Everyone speaks English well, so you won't have any problems with language. They teach all subjects in English, and their teaching methods are interesting and helpful. They are better than the faculty at Indian medical universities.
    Dislikes (Part time work): On-campus part-time jobs are available at Saratov State Medical University. You can do a job at the hospital after class. This is a great opportunity to observe Russian patients and their treatments. You can do many jobs as a student, and they will pay you enough.

    Saratov State Medical University has very little on-campus events for international students.
    Tips: Students should know how to do official work and how to cook, as they will be living abroad. They should also know about FMGE and be able to live away from home and manage on their own. They should respect the culture of the country they are living in. There are too few events for international students at this college. There is no cultural fest for international students, and there are no concerts or sports events. Only a few students know about the events that are happening, and the rest of us are clueless. I think that everyone should be informed about the events so that no one feels deprived.
    Likes (Safety): I feel safe in this city, especially as a woman. I have never had a bad experience here and I feel safe travelling alone even at night. The people here are very friendly and welcoming and they don't care about your style of dress. You can be yourself and not worry about being judged.

    Tips: The university provides hostel accommodations for international students usually on a twin sharing basis. The hostels are located near the university which is convenient and safe especially during the harsh winters. Good expereinces.
    Likes (Safety): The university has good security guards and cameras in all departments. Hostels are well guarded with 24/7 security personnel and CCTV surveillance ensuring student safety. International students are encouraged to live on campus during their initial years for enhanced safety and convenience. Hostels have separate arrangements for male and female students.
    Dislikes (Part time work): There are several ways to find part time work as a student. Look for on campus jobs such as helping with research projects or working in administrative roles. Another option is tutoring or teaching a foreign language. Many local families and language schools hire part time tutors.
