Scholarship Overview

Aston - Women in Engineering Scholarship is offered by the Aston University to international students. Aston - Women in Engineering Scholarship is available for students from all countries who want to study Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree in the UK at the Aston University. Every year, the university selects a certain number of candidates from all the received applications and offers them scholarships based on their academic profiles. The maximum scholarship that a student can receive is GBP 7500 at Aston University. The fee needs to be paid in full, the scholarship amount will be given to students once they start their study program.

Eligibility

• The Scholarship is designed to attract the brightest and best female students
• This scholarship will be awarded to students who demonstrate their commitment to engineering, which could be demonstrated by academic achievement, work experience, volunteering, or extra-curricular projects and activities
• Successful applicants will also demonstrate their enthusiasm, pride, and ability to represent Aston University and share their experience with others
• A student may be eligible for an Aston International Scholarship if:
  • They are classed as an Overseas student for tuition fee purposes
  • They are holding an offer for a full-time Undergraduate or Postgraduate Taught program at Aston University
  • They are entering into the first year of study on a degree programme taught by Aston University
  • They meet all of the conditions set out in their offer letter

Application Process for this scholarship

• An official academic transcript, with an official English translation, of the university grades to date
• Proof of English language proficiency
• Personal Statement - A personal statement (250 words max) that explains your interest in the subject area, shows non-academic achievements or activities that you wish to be considered, and demonstrates how the course will support your career plans
• Copy of Passport
• Sponsor letter, if appropriate/available
• CV (Optional)
• Two references (one academic and one employer) 

Applicants will be asked to write a short supporting statement, which will be judged by a panel
