• The Divakara Varma Memorial Award was created by family and friends to commemorate the life of Mr. Divakara (Dik) Varma (1933-2017), a professional librarian for York University's Faculty of Administrative Studies and Public Services (1971-1994). Following retirement, he became a Senior Scholar (1994-2000)
