Green and Gold Scholarship is applicable to only Bachelors Degree students. This is a Merit Based scholarship. Green and Gold Scholarship award up to USD 10000 on a one time basis to various international students. The number of students to be awarded this scholarship Varies depending upon the university each year. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE. All international students are auto-considered for these scholarships when they apply for the courses that have scholarships

  • A total of $40,000 – $10,000 ( $10,000 – $2,500 per year, half paid each semester-fall/spring) will be awarded to merit scholars who meet the selection and renewal criteria.
  • GPA 4.0 or above - $10,000 Award amount
  • GPA 3.80-3.99- $8,000 Award amount
  • GPA 3.60-3.79- $6,000 Award amount
  • GPA 3.40-3.59- $5,000 Award amount 
  • GPA 3.30-3.39- $2,500  Award amount

Eligibility

  • To be considered for an award, students must be admitted to a full-time degree seeking program on Colorado State University’s main campus for the fall or spring terms. CSU Online students are not eligible.
  • The minimum TOEFL score for admission without condition is 80 for the (internet-based exam).
  • The minimum IELTS score for admission without condition is 6.5. 
  • The minimum PTE Academic Score for admission without condition is 58.
  • Renewal: students must maintain 3.0 GPA and Satisfactory Academic Progress. These students may receive this award for up to a total of eight (8) semesters, or until their degree is complete, whichever comes first.

How to aply- Students must submit a complete application for admission by March 1 along with any new transcripts to strengthen their scholarship eligibility. (weighted GPA’s as provided on the high school transcript are used).

Additional Information

  • Students who meet eligibility requirements will be notified via mail. The award will also be posted to RAMweb in the Financial Aid Awards section.
  • Students cannot receive the Green and Gold Scholarship, Presidential, Provost’s, Dean’s, or Academic Recognition scholarships with the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) award, the Native American Legacy Award, or the GI Promise, HB 15-1294 GI Benefits and Yellow Ribbon programs. If a student is awarded one of these scholarships and qualifies for a higher award, the lower valued award will be cancelled.
