  • This scholarship is an automatic award for students paying overseas fees, joining the first or second year of an eligible undergraduate Bachelors degree programme in September 2026.
  • The scholarship is awarded for every year of study, excluding placement years, years in industry, years/semesters abroad or any other occasion where a student is not paying the full Overseas tuition fee.

This scholarship is applicable for the following courses in University of East Anglia in UK

  • This scholarship is available for all undergraduate Bachelors degree.
  • The following courses are not eligible for this scholarship:
    • MBBS Medicine
    • BSc Physiotherapy
    • BSc Occupational Therapy
    • BSc Medical Research
    • Any Undergraduate Final Year Entry courses
    • Degree Apprenticeship courses
  • In our School of Engineering, Maths and Physics and our School of Environmental Sciences, all courses with a £29,300 fee will receive a scholarship of £10,000 per year. Note that this does not apply to £29,300 fee courses in any other Schools.

    • This award is worth:
      • £5,000 for every year of study
        Or
      • £10,000 for every year of study for an eligible programme in Engineering, Physics or Environmental Sciences

  • Year 2 Entry: (excluding students joining from UEA International Study Centre)
    • This award is worth:
      • £5,000 for every year of study, if you are a national of, or domiciled in: Bangladesh, Colombia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Vietnam or Zimbabwe.
      • £4,000 for every year of study, for rest of the world.

  • UEA INTERNATIONAL STUDY CENTRE Students joining Year 2 of a UEA UG programme
    • This award is worth: £4,000 for every year of study.

  • Additionally, UEA is offering free* twin-sharing accommodation (1st year only) to the first 20 students (Indian Nationality only), who secure their spot and pay the international deposit of £6,000.

  • *The University reserves the right to make final decisions regarding the allocation and selection of the 20 students receiving free accommodation on a first come first serve basis.

  • Students receiving sponsorship covering full fees by an outside body or government organisation are not eligible for this scholarship. Government or educational loans that require repayment do not affect eligibility.
