Scholarship Overview

OGS Scholarships for International Students is awarded for pursuing Master in Business Administration at Western University. A student can get a maximum amount of CAD 5000 and the scholarship amount will be given trimester wise. The scholarship amount can be used for paying tuition. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their 12th grade and also possess a Bachelor degree. In order to apply for the scholarship, students need the following documents: LOR.

Scholarship amount details

Max scholarship per student: CAD 5,000 => Rs 3,03,750

Conversion rate used: 1 CAD = Rs. 60.75 (last updated 23rd July 2024)

• 15,000 CAD for one year (3 consecutive terms)
• At Western University the annual value of an award is divided into three equal installments and each is pre-paid to the award holder’s Student Center account at the start of every term (September, January, and May)

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a current graduate student, or have submitted an application for admission to a Western graduate program
• Applicant must have achieved a minimum of 80% in either their graduate program admission average and/or their cumulative Western graduate average
• Also, an OGS applicant:
  • Must not have exceeded the lifetime maximum of two (2) OGS/QEII-GSST awards held at the master's level, nor exceeded the lifetime maximum of four (4) OGS/QEII-GSST awards held at the doctoral level
  • Must not have exceeded the lifetime maximum of six (6) years of government-funded student award support from the following programs/agencies:
    • Ontario Graduate Scholarships (OGS)
    • Ontario Trillium Scholarships (OTS)
    • Queen Elizabeth II Graduate Scholarship in Science and Technology (QEII-GSST)
    • Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR)
    • Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC)
    • Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC)
