  • The School of Modern Languages and Cultures (SMLC) will award a Master's scholarship to an outstanding applicant wishing to commence full-time study on of our one-year taught master's in Autumn 2025

  • The scholarship will consist of a fee waiver (for applicants with Home fees status) or a fee subsidy (for applicants with International fees status) for a maximum value equal to the Postgraduate Taught fees.
  • For the successful candidates, the award will be conditional on acceptance of a place of study.
  • The award will be arranged directly with the University's Student Finances service. If the fee for the course is less (e.g. because the student qualifies for a Warwick alumni discount), the level of the scholarship will be adjusted accordingly.

Eligibility

  • The scholarship is for full-time study only.
  • Students domiciled in the UK as well as international students are eligible to apply
  • The scholarship cannot be deferred, or transferred to another course outside the School of Modern Languages & Cultures.
  • You must be self-funding
  • You must have (or be expected to attain) a First or good 2.i (or international equivalent) for your undergraduate degree.
  • Applications are welcomed from students who consider Master's study as a stepping-stone towards doctoral study, though this is not a prerequisite.
