Scholarship Overview

Western Scholarship of Excellence is awarded for pursuing Bachelor of Engineering Science in Mechanical Engineering,Bachelor of Engineering Science in Computer Engineering,BSc Honors in Computer Science,Bachelor of Engineering Science in Civil Engineering,Bachelor of Engineering Science in Electrical Engineering,Bachelor of Engineering Science in Chemical Engineering at Western University. A student can get a maximum amount of CAD 6000 and the scholarship amount will be given one time only. The scholarship amount can be used for paying tuition. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. To be eligible for this award, international students must take English proficiency tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, PTE.

Eligibility

• Students in receipt of a National Scholarship or a Schulich Leader Scholarship are not eligible for a Western Admission Scholarship
• Applicants must have an academic average of 90 – 94.9%
• Applicants must have passed from one of the following:
  • CBSE - All India Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (AISSSCE); or
  • CISCE - Indian School Certificate (ISC); or
  • State Boards – Intermediate / Pre-University / Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary School Certificate
• Subjects Preferred:
  • Senior Level Calculus- BSc Hons in Computer Science
  • Calculus, chemistry and Physics- Engineering Programs
• IELTS: 6.5, with no part less than 6.0
• TOEFL: 83, with no score below 20
• PTE: 58, with no score less than 56
