Yes, interviews are an important part of the Korea University admission process. Right after the applicants are shortlisted after submission of their application, they are called for a virtual interview. In this interview they are asked questions about their long term goals and their fit for KU is reviewed.

The best part is international students can take a maximum of three courses with 3 credits. 3 credit class consists of 2400 total minutes of actual class time (48 hours x 50 minutes).

Q:   What qualifications do I need to study in Korea University?

Korea University offers many courses at UG and PG levels. The admission requirements for the both of these levels vary. For example for the UG courses which are Korean taught, international students are required to have TOPIK level 3 or higher. Look at the list of Korean University admission requirements below -

Q:   How can I apply for Korea University admissions?
A: 

To apply for Korea University admissions, international students need to have some important admission documents in PDF form ready and follow an admission process properly, which is given below -

  • Select a course from 18 courses offered by the university and check their eligibility criteria.
  • Indian students can apply via the Korea University portal or UWAY to fill out the required details
  • The KU application fee is KRW 1,50,000 (INR 9,000) for UG courses and KRW 1,00,000 - 1,27,000 (INR 10,00,000 - 12,70,000) for graduate.
  • If you are shortlisted, you will be called for an interview to check if you are a well-suited candidate for the Korean University courses ot not.
  • The university will review the application, and respond within a few weeks. They will provide an offer letter to join the program.

Korea University only requires you to submit a portfolio if you're applying for Art & Design program. It should be printed  on A4 size sheet with each sheet containing only a single piece of work. Also statement of verification for Portfolio must be completed by using the KU form provided

For Humanities or Sciences the application fee for Korea University is KRW 150,000 or 9.2k and KRW 200,000 Arts & Design or 12.3k for UG courses. This fee is non refundable. And once you pay the fee your major cannot be changed and application cannot be cancelled either
