St. George’s University (SGU) School of Medicine in Grenada announces the initiation of an Academic Merit Scholarship exclusively for international students. This scholarship, alongside existing programs like the International Peace Bursary and Global Scholars Bursary, aims to acknowledge and reward academic performance among incoming students.
Determined by predicted academic achievements, the scholarship allows eligible students to qualify for multiple awards. SGU emphasizes its commitment to financially sustainable education and recognizing the diverse needs of applicants and their families.
This program for international applicants highlights merit and achievement, providing a pathway for students to pursue academic goals in medicine. The launch of the Academic Merit Scholarship reaffirms SGU's commitment to alleviating financial burdens associated with medical school. Over 22,000 SGU School of Medicine graduates have succeeded globally, as indicated from 1981 to 2023.
