GREAT EXPERIENCE AT BITS DUBAI!
Tips: It has been an awesome experience overall, both academically and socially. The teaching faculty is encouraging, and the student body is very diverse, making it quite easy to interact with students from varied backgrounds. I specifically admire the practical way of learning.

Master of Business Administration - Batch of 2027

Very good for value for money and well know in india. Quality of professor is top notch
Tips: You should not expect a lot of salary, as this institute is still not very well known in the UAE compared to Middlesex and other companies. Scholarship is provided based on your marks and also if you maintain a 9 CGPA during semester exams. An MBA from this university is still a gamble but is value for money.
Likes (Safety): The hostel is connected to the campus, and the other hostel is within a 1 km range of the campus; therefore, transportation from the campus to the hostel is also provided by the university. Hostels are safe, but the catch here is food, as non-vegetarian food is not as tasty as you expect.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Every company here sponsors visas for work, but the catch is that the jobs are mostly entry level, and you can't expect a lot from the salary package. An internship is usually provided by the university in the 4th semester of an MBA, and internships are usually provided according to your CGPA.

A Little Bit Of Everything
Tips: Transition won't be easy since the college is far from the city and there is not much to do around; academics can be stressful, and yes, scholarships are offered. I got 15% on my tuition fee and 25% on my accommodation. I am not completely satisfied by my university, but again, every college has its ups and downs.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): Dubai is a place where Indians can settle down easily with no problem regarding the visa and stay and can also expect a permanent job after college. I would like to immigrate, but again, it depends on the stipend and external factors since it is not cheap living in Dubai.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Our college does not offer post-study jobs. Many jobs in different roles are offered, from data analytics to something in finance. its as per the type of work a student is looking for. People have been places in Danube, Lulu, and many other companies; the minimum is 1000, but again, it depends on your work and CV.

All in one college experience.
Tips: You can avail yourself of the scholarships based on your 12th-grade board marks. Based on your CGPA every year, fees will differ for the next year. Being a hosteler helps you to explore more opportunities and events in uni than a day scholar. The faculty are friendly and supportive academically.
Likes (Safety): In terms of safety, I rate BITS a 5/5. Even during college events, when the number of students becomes overwhelmingly higher, we have several students, committee members, and professionals to help with the crowd management and any disputes. I havent had any bad experiences till now
Dislikes (Post study jobs): They do offer internships, but it may not always be specific to my degree. There are a lot of CS-based roles offered for the CS students. But for biotech students, it is a lot trickier to arrange internships specific to our field, but they do try their best to provide them. BITS has career fair events where many companies are invited to provide internships as well as full-time opportunities for students.

some tips about coming to uni
Tips: Look, you can’t judge the whole university by a few people, because every single batch that rolls into BITS Dubai has a completely different dynamic. It’s a massive mix—you’ll find absolute geniuses who lock themselves in the library, and you’ll find people who just want to goof off or end up misbehaving and causing drama. You just have to find your own crowd and not judge the entire student body based on a few bad apples. Outside the university gates, Dubai is literally insanely safe. You never have to worry about looking over your shoulder, which means you can just channel all your energy into not drowning in the BITS engineering workload.
Likes (Safety): I gave safety a top rating because Dubai is easily one of the safest places in the world. You can literally walk around the city or the DIAC campus area at 3 AM without a single worry, and you can leave your laptop or phone on a food court table without anyone touching it. The peace of mind here is completely unmatched. However, you need to know the reality of the job scene before coming to BITS Dubai. The placement department isn't going to hand you a corporate role on a silver platter. A lot of the companies coming for campus drives are just early-stage startups offering pretty mediocre, low-paying roles. On top of that, UAE visa laws are incredibly strict—your student visa does not give you the right to just go out and grab a normal part-time job. To work legally, you have to jump through major hoops with MOHRE permits and get an official university NOC. Do not expect to fund your daily life with casual side gigs here; make sure you sort out your finances beforehand.
Dislikes (Part time work): No internships with actual value are offered; most of them are just startups by college universities. The jobs are mediocre, and the college dept. doesn't actually help to land a job. Before joining, please confirm your terms first; you are not allowed to have a part-time job as per your visa.
