The minimum IELTS requirements is 6 with 5.5 in each band. This is for most of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses. For the law courses, the requirement is 6.5 IELTS score. DMU Dubai also accepts PTE, and other English Language Proficiency certifications as well. If you are applying for the International First Year (IFY) programs, then you need to have a 5.5 IELTS score overall with a 5.5 score in each band. Also, there are English courses which are taken before the beginning of the course session, if you do not have the English Language Proficiency score or certification.
De Montfort University Dubai has received license and accreditation by the UAE's Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR). The qualifications of DMU Dubai have become official, and has received the seal of approval by the UAE government.
