Sheffield Hallam University entry requirements for Indian students are given below:

Undergraduate Programs

The applicants with the following qualifications from India shall be considered for admission to UG courses:

• Class 12 with an average of 65%
• A levels
• International  Baccalaureate
• HND qualifications shall be considered for entry to second or third year of the relevant undergraduate course

Pre-Master’s Program

• The applicants having a degree in a subject considered unsuitable for direct entry to a master’s programme ‘conversion’ students

Postgraduate Taught (Master’s) Programs

The following qualifications shall be considered for admission to SHU master’s programs:

• 3-year bachelor’s degrees with a minimum score of between 55% - 60%or above (from a reputed university)
• 4-year bachelor’s degree with a minimum score of 55% or above (from a reputed university)
• Successful completion of a recognised pre-master’s course

Postgraduate Research Programs

• The applicants are required to have a master’s degree from a recognised university
• In most cases, the applicants are required to submit a full application for PhD study, including a formal research proposal

Indian applicants seeking admission to postgraduate taught (master’s) programs at Sheffield Hallam University must have the following. The following qualifications are considered from Indian applicants taking admission to SHU:

• 3-year bachelor’s degrees with a minimum score of between 55% - 60% or above (from a reputed university)
• 4-year bachelor’s degree with a minimum score of 55% or above (from a reputed university)

English-language proficiency score: IELTS score of 6.0 with 5.5 in all skills (or equivalent)
