MSc in Digital Marketing - Batch of 2026

Good opportunities and scope.
Tips: The community is very welcoming and classes are engaging as well. The format is more independent here and you will have to advocate for yourself. The lecturers are passionate about their lessons and reciprocity is expected in the classrooms so try to be more participative. The campus is very global with a good support system in place.
Dislikes (Internships): Internships are something you'll have to figure out for yourself as the university can help out to an extent rest you'll be on your own. See if you can get any tie ups with places or ask professors for help, as they can be quite useful as well here.

Great student friendly environment.
Tips: Liverpool is a very student friendly university and city and things have a good system in place. When it comes to part time roles, there are a few on campus that get filled up fast rest you can find something outside in retail or hospitality although hours can be inconsistent at times. Rest is pretty good here.

Learning growth and cultural exposure at Liverpool.
Tips: Before joining the University of Liverpool students should know that getting involved in extracurricular activities really helps with adapting to both the academic environment and culture. I experienced a cultural shift initially. But the transition was smooth because the people were very helpful and supportive. Having completed my degree. I am satisfied with the course and the country and I believe the experience has contribute positively to both my personal and academic growth.

Biotechnology MSc - Batch of 2026

The campus is diverse, safe, and very welcoming for newcomers.
Tips: Students should know that the college offers strong academic support and plenty of opportunities to get involved, but they should be prepared to manage their time well because assignments and group work can get quite busy. The campus is diverse, safe, and very welcoming for newcomers. When I first arrived, the transition felt a bit overwhelming because of the cultural differences especially in how classes are conducted and how independent learning is encouraged. But with time, I adapted and now feel confident and settled. I did apply for a scholarship and got selected after submitting my documents and completing the required process. The scholarship allowance helped me with part of my tuition and living expenses. I am happy with my university, the course structure, and the country. The learning environment is supportive, and studying here has helped me improve academically and personally.

It was tough but worth it.
Tips: It is a difficult shift, living alone, managing your finances, loneliness, but it's also fruitful, as once you overcome these hardships, nothing is holding you back. The University of Liverpool offer good scholarships. I availed a 30% discount, as I had a 9 CGPA in my Bachelor's.
Likes (Part time work): A lot of part-time jobs are available for students, especially those in the UK who are doing higher education. It can be tough managing both college and work at first, but it gets easier with flexible, well-organised jobs.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): There are no placements available. It becomes very much difficult to get jobs because they are left on their own while also exploring the job market.

Yes, there is a large community of international students studying at the University of Liverpool. In total there are 7000 currently, which makes up a huge chunk of the total students here.

Due to this, international students feel very welcomed and comfortable during their studies at Liverpool.
