I learned crucial life lessons. Good university.
Tips: I never lived alone my entire life before coming here. So I learned a lot of things after coming. You shouldn't keep expecting from anyone. The people you live with are just jealous, selfish and inhuman so you have to find your own way through things. Cultural shift that I noticed was all the locals are polite here. I did receive a scholarship of 2000 pounds as I am from a commonwealth country. I'm really satisfied with coming here because it taught me some crucial life lessons.
Likes (Safety): I rated a 5 star on safety because the city has shown exceptional commitment to students' safety with well-lit street, regular police patrols, and a response emergency service. The university has a dedicated support team for international students which conducts regular safety workshops and provides 24/7 assistance. Additionally, the community is inclusive and respectful, creating a secure environment for students from diverse background.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I rated the permanent immigration/settlement option as 3 because, while there are avenues for graduates, especially in the teach and data sectors, to remain in the country, the process is quite competitive and subject to changing immigration policies. The university provides a robust network and resources to help with post-study work opportunities, which moderately increases my chance of permanent settlement. However, the uncertainty around visa regulations and the need for employers' sponsorship makes the outlook less certain. As a student of data Science and AI, my skill set is in demand, which may improve my chance of finding a suitable position that could lead to permanent residence. Given a chance to stay, I am inclined to permanently immigrate to this country due to the thriving tech industry and research opportunities and the cultural diversity and the quality of life here. My decision to settle would also depend on long-term career prospects and the social and political scenarios at the time of making such a decision.

University of Liverpool was as I expected. Amazing opportunities if you are capable.
Tips: There's not much of a shift because it's an English-speaking nation so that cuts it off by 70% rest 30% is adaptation whether to the food habits or general way of conduct. This much is easy and won't take time (word of an Indian student). I got 4000 pounds international student scholarship (they do take merit in consideration so it is upto 5k GBP). College has decent clubs to be a part of and some clubs also organise walks outside the premises so it's a win situation. In-campus jobs are a bit rare so you got to find something outside (don't worry you will, everyone does!). Rest my course is just what I expected. From governance to intelligence policies everything is in the curriculum and case studies and mock drills are good for getting real time experience. Yes to this university!
Likes (Safety): Security generally is good but it is advise by university as well to look before taking any step. Like getting accommodation, looking at the contact to avoid any confusion or being aware of your surroundings while you are on a night out. Make sure to be a student only and don't oversmart the native. If you are good with them, they'll be the most kind.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The competition is cut throat especially if you are from India, Pakistan or Bangladesh. Packages are decent but the primary thing is to get the job. It is recommended to take up as many internships as you can in your domain even if they are remote. Lay the foundation stone and definitely good opportunities are there. Don't listen to people speaking about there being no jobs, someone being competent doesn't change the whole scenario.

It’s great to study at University of Liverpool
Tips: If coming here after taking a loan then try to join a part time job which is not so hectic. This can give you a push to spend for your expenses without any hesitation. I got the vice chancellor scholarship auto-granted to me after I got admission into the university.
Likes (Post study jobs): Very few companies are available to sponsor. Many companies do not accept the application if not having a permanent visa or ILR ( infinite leave to remain in the UK). Also for all the sponsored jobs, it requires good experience for them to consider the application.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Chances are good if you have very good previous job experience and have a Masters degree. Not many companies are sponsoring but consider to do so after we work there for a few years. Given a chance, I would like to take a sponsored job and would stay here for a maximum of 10 years and not forever.

Great course in a good university
Tips: Campus is very green and sports facilities are there. Library is very spacious but not much is contributed towards student welfare in terms of scholarships. It is not a cakewalk to be an International student keep up with your part-time if you want to spend more. Maybe don't go home in the break and keep earning for the next few months. I'm satisfied as I wanted to come to the UK and my course is something that is growing out of its wings nowadays so, it is worth it anyway. New curriculum is focusing more on openAI and prompt which is very good and has scope, is worth a lot.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Liverpool is a big city and so there is no problems to commute to college. Buses are reliable and cabs are expensive, so try to avoid them. Buses are fully automated and are always on time. I never faced any problem regarding transportation in this city.

Great city to live in. Networking is very important.
Tips: College itself is good, city has a vibe of its own. Good events, parties and clubs around. 10/10 for enjoyment. Good football games, top-class players come and that is something to see. In college, faculty is knowledgeable, and very supportive but makes assignments on time sometimes that makes a day hectic here. Exams are moderate to highly difficult. The country is very good, can see my future here and live here if a good job job knocks on the door.
Likes (Safety): International student grievances are taken up strictly if there is any issue otherwise it is quite friendly. No bad experience in the city as of now. Around the city center and waterfront everything is good and no one will bother however I would say that be aware if in toxteth and around everton. These areas are safe also but sometimes there are news about petty crimes.
Dislikes (Student Life): I am very interactive so when I came here I met some people whom I confirmed were from certain clubs, they were very forthcoming and invited me to their club meet where I made connections and now I almost know coordinators of all the clubs. Don't wait for people to reach out to you if you have talent no one will, instead go yourself and search for right people to meet. The connections that will be made in these clubs will even help out with other things outside the campus premises. So don't wait!
