Focus on studies instead of getting part time jobs

Tips: Get to know staff maybe connect with them on LinkedIn. Check whether the lecture happens online or offline since one of our modules is almost entirely online. Along with that see how the marking scheme is for each module that you want to go for so it would help to plan your study in advance.

Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation is good, cheap and less crowded. You have lot of options to travel by bus, subway and train. If you are about 20 years old then you get a free bus and train pass from the university which is great. Entirely cashless if you just have card with you that is perfectly fine.

Dislikes (Quality of faculty): They are approachable and also really helpful. However everthing has to be done by student-faculty is there to guide you on things but help you directly like spoon feeding. There are also some lectures which happen online and do not help that much in studies

Amazing teaching experience.

Tips: I faced difficulties adjusting to the academic and social norms. There are many scholarships available to international students based on academic excellence, but students should apply early to get any scholarships. Overall, Glasgow is a great city. The university has brilliant teaching faculty and provides many opportunities.

The campus crowd is friendly.

Tips: The university is academically oriented with excellent teaching faculty. Students coming here should be prepared to submit assignments on time and within the framework. Attending classes regularly is compulsory. Also, make sure you sort your accommodation before coming. I am enjoying Scotland weather and exploring UK. It is a nice place to roam around and make beautiful memories along with good friends.

Stressful but fun! Enjoy and study harder.

Tips: I did receive a scholarship so students should just apply to as many as they can and with your requirements they will select which is applicable. University life is amazing, there are many facilities on campus which as a fresher feels like paradise. The food price is also reasonable and there are job fairs and career fairs which help a lot.

A great place for career development.

Tips: Having high diversity in nationalities of the students, we are exposed to various perspectives while mingling with classmates. The university also provides opportunities for continuing the study further with good scholarships. The overall experience of pursuing a degree here is awesome.

Likes (Quality of faculty): The professors are very friendly and supportive. Their guidance extends beyond classroom teaching as they provide frequent feedback not just concerning our coursework performance but also regarding career development. A lot of the teaching staff are from different countries.

Dislikes (Indian Food): Although there are many Indian restaurants, the taste is not authentic. It taste very land. Also the prices are high. It is always better to cook by ourselves but during exam times or assignment deadline times to prepare food and have consumes a lot of time.
