University at Albany SUNY: Ranking, Cost, Admission 2024

The University at Albany application fee is a $75 non-refundable application cost for degree applications and a $20 fee for non-degree applications.  So make sure you have completed the entire application before you submit. You can check the status of your application online and sign up for decision notifications once you've paid the application fee and submitted your application. 

University at Albany-SUNY is not expensive for international students. They charge INR 2-24L tuition fees for international students and their insurance range is around 2 lakhs. The personal expenses can range up to INR 1.4 L. The personal expenses and miscellaneous expenses depend on the individual’s expenses so it may vary. In addition, Hostel costs can range up to INR 12-14L and books and supplies range up to INR 82K.

SAT or ACT scores are optional, although you may choose to submit them to enhance your chances of getting in.

The University of Albany does not have a strict SAT requirement, but they definitely like to see a score of at least 1100 to be considered. You are not needed to submit English proficiency test results, if you attended or are currently attending high school in the United States or if English is your first language, but you may do so if you want to boost your application.

You must submit your English proficiency test results if you attended high school outside of the United States and do not speak English as a first language. Any of the subsequent tests will be taken into account.
