- Pay application fee: After completing the personal, academic, and document upload sections, Indian applicants must pay the non-refundable application fee of USD 50 for undergraduate programs and USD 50 - 75 for postgraduate programs at Old Dominion University. For UG
Undergraduate applicants can either apply through the Common Application portal or directly to the university through the ODU Application portal. International applicants applying to other US universities via the Common App can use this portal for ODU as well.
For PG
Graduate applicants need to apply directly to the university via the ODU Application. You can use the link to visit the portal directly and start your application process by following the steps given below on the official website.
Step 1: As a new user, create an account first and save your details.
Step 2: Select a programme and start a new application.
Step 3: Select your programme and term.
Step 4: Enter relevant details.
Step 5: Provide international information, with citizenship, marital status, and visa details.
Step 6: Enter academic details, and test scores, and upload the necessary documents. Sign the undertaking.
After filling in the required information, review and submit the application by paying the application fee.
From the day an application is considered complete, students need to wait a minimum of four weeks. Ime cases where applicant information is incorrect, or there are visa issues, it may take longer.
ODU has a long-standing tradition of providing a diverse and welcoming community to students and learning from different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. - Undergraduate Admissions: Applicants should have a US-equivalent high school Diploma or leaving certificate from all previously attended schools or institutions. Submission of standardized exam scores like SAT or ACT is optional, however, highly recommended. Especially, if you want to apply for a scholarship. The credit transfer option is also available for students looking to earn college credit through the Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB) and Cambridge Advanced A/AS exams.
