The campus offers countless clubs, cultural events, and networking opportunities.
Tips: Rutgers, New Brunswick, offers a vibrant, research-driven environment with endless opportunities to grow. The cultural shift was real, but the diversity and support on campus made the transition much easier. Though I didn't receive a scholarship, the learning experience and exposure are worth the investment. Student life at Rutgers, New Brunswick, is incredibly dynamic and diverse. The campus offers countless clubs, cultural events, and networking opportunities that help students grow both personally and professionally. Access to top-notch research labs and supportive faculty really enhances the academic experience.

Tips: There are people from all cultures here, and you can always find your people. It's easy to talk to new people and join clubs because they are always looking for diversity and new opinions. The only downside is that you have to hustle a lot to get jobs and be noticed, but it's all part of the culture here. You just have to make the best of it.

Q:   Does Rutgers give full scholarships for international students?
A: 

Rutgers University offers the International Chancellor’s Scholarship of up to USD 15,000 to non-sponsored students. International UG applicants meet admission requirements. Below will be getting scholarships: 

     Rutger Undergraduate Scholarships for international students 

  • SAT scores between 1060-1190 or ACT scores between 21-24 can receive scholarships of USD 2000 ( total scholarship of USD12,000: USD 6,000 per semester)

  • SAT=> 1200 or CT => 25 additional USD5,000 ( Total scholarship of USD15,000; USD 7,500 per semester) 

       However, Rutger University also provides Scholarships for Postgraduate students 

  •  Applicants with scores ranging from 151-157 in GRE will get a scholarship with USD 2,000 Scholarship.

  • While scores higher than 158 can receive an additional USD 4,000 in scholarships. 

  • The Scholarship amount is determined by a holistic assessment of the application and submitted GMAT scores, ranging from up to USD 6,000 per semester for a GMAT score of 650 or higher to USD 3,500 per semester for a score of 550-599.

2. Grade Point Average (GPA) 

Most international applicants will not have a grade point average GPA that is based on the 4-point scale used in the united states. GPA information is used for statistical purposes, and your transcripts will clarify academic achievement.

Expenses 

  • Applicants must be prepared to incur the following expenses when they arrive on campus. Upon arrival, you must pay tuition and, where applicable, housing and dining charges for that semester. 

  • If you're admitted with university financial assistance in the form of teaching and graduate assistantships, you should have personal funds to cover immediate expenses. 

  • Applicants must bring a bank draft of half of the amount needed to support your first-year educational and living expenses. 

  • Note that bank drafts take at least 14 days

Q:   Is SAT required for Rutgers University?
A: 

Rutgers University has made the submission of SAT and ACT scores optional for admissions. If students cannot submit a test score or choose not to, they will still receive full admission consideration. The University conducts a holistic review of each student’s application that considers many more factors, excluding SAT and ACT. However, if the students have already given the SATs and have the score ready, they can submit their documents while applying.
