Though I didn't receive a scholarship, the learning experience and exposure are worth the investment. Student life at Rutgers, New Brunswick, is incredibly dynamic and diverse. Tips: There are people from all cultures here, and you can always find your people. It's easy to talk to new people and join clubs because they are always looking for diversity and new opinions. The only downside is that you have to hustle a lot to get jobs and be noticed, but it's all part of the culture here. You just have to make the best of it.
