Tips: Syracuse has a very liberal mindset, and there are people from all over the country and the world, including Indians. Plenty of Indian food options and restaurants, as well as other cuisines. Tips: Syracuse is much larger than I'd imagine and has students from all across the world. Faculty is also diverse and adequately represented. You will have to learn to advocate for yourself in order to stand out. What I like here is that all our needs are met, be it within classrooms or outside. Before you reach campus, it's a good idea to figure out your housing situation by taking the help of the student communities and befriending your fellow classmates while in India itself.

The university is good but slightly overrated.
Tips: Honesty, if you are keen on studying in the States, you should try for a better college, and you should only seriously consider going if you have some form of scholarship or backup, because it just won't be worth it otherwise. I have learnt a lot here, but I would not make the same decisions if I had another chance. But, it might suit some people, so you should keep an open mind, be a part of campus initiatives and focus on landing a job after graduation. Feel free to reach out to faculty in case of any doubts or queries. Overall, I am satisfied with my experiences.
