- Campus Dining- UAB offers on-campus dining options for students with more than 15 restaurants on the university campus. The Hill Student Center has more than 18 unique departments, restaurants, and other services.
- Housing and Residential Life- The Student Housing facilities at the University of Alabama at Birmingham include suite-style residence halls, two semi-suite-style residence halls, and four apartment-style residence halls. The UAB housing facilities are limited, and the students should apply as early as possible if they wish to apply during the fall semester.
- Campus Recreation Center- The recreation facility center has a housing area of three floors that includes four volleyball and basketball courts, four aerobic studios with an aquatics center, and a multi-purpose court that is used for a variety of sports.
University of Alabama at Birmingham Athletics
UAB sponsors 18 intercollegiate sports, and the athletic teams compete in NCAA Division I. The intercollegiate athletic teams of the college are also called UAB Blazers, and the university mascot is named Blaze. Some of the sports teams at UAB include Baseball, Basketball, Golf, Tennis, Soccer, Soccer, Rifle, Track and Field, etc.
