It is great to be a Florida Gator.
Tips: Be ready to race the Florida climate, it can be unpredictable. Be prepared to learn a plethora of topics from math to engineering to economics to data analytics. Have a well-planned strategy to spend time here wisely. Use every opportunity to develop personally and professionally, clubs, networking events, career fair, conferences, sports teams, on-campus part-time jobs, etc., you never know who you'll meet. Learn about the culture and languages used here. The South is way more diverse and rooted than it gets the buck for. Embrace the Gator Spirit and uphold the Gator Engineering values.

Tips: No cultural shift as such, pretty easy to be honest. I had a 1500 scholarship for each semester. They made sure I am comfortable with my studies, internships and other aspects of a Masters degree.
Likes (Internships): I interned at Amazon as a data scientist so I think there are multiple job opportunities available. Also, there are multiple career fairs during each semester so which helps. Also there is an internal career website for Uf students so which helps as well in finding internships and assistantships.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I prefer cooking, though there are multiple Indian restaurants available nearby. Also there were multiple takeaway restaurants with a variety of indian food available lot of indian grocery stores, so it never felt like I was missing out on my home food.

Tips: I have transitioned a lot as this place pushes everyone to do their best. Tips: I have liked the culture and my classes since the beginning. The classes are competitive and project intensive depending on your programme. Professors are direct and friendly and people are welcoming. There's a lot of school spirit and the spirit is electric here. Cook your own meals and carpool/share resources if you can to save up. The research opportunities are impressive as well.

Been a good start here.
Tips: I came here quite recently, so it will still take me some time to truly comment on the job prospects and value of my degree but for now, I have found my classes quite interesting with knowledgeable professors as well. There are academic fairs to help you get an idea of your courses before signing up for them, which I really liked. I have met very helpful people on campus as well.
