UM-Flint Admissions 2025: Application Deadline, Requirements & Costs

There is no application fee for students if they apply through the university's official portal. However, if they opt to apply through the common application, then they must pay an amount of USD 50 (might vary; would suggest students to check before applying). For Postgraduate courses the application fee is USD55 however the application fee might be different depending on the course.

For undergraduates, the UM-Flint offers merit scholarships for international students based on their ACT or SAT scores and GPA. However, these test scores are not required for admission but are necessary for a scholarship.

However, UM-Flint offers graduate scholarships for newly admitted international students. UM-Flint offers scholarships for newly admitted international students with a minimum GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale. These scholarships are worth 10,000 and will be awarded for up to two years. 

The MS in Computer Science application fee at the University of Michigan Flint is USD50 for international students. Applicants must know that the application fee is non-refundable irrespective of the outcome.

• Official Transcripts: Applicants must submit their high school/secondary school transcripts to UM-Flint. Applicants must include an official translation if they’re not in English. However a lot of schools provide only one original copy; however, you can request the schools to provide them attested copies.

• Proof of English Requirements: 

If English isn’t your primary language, applicants must demonstrate profificneyc through theb below exams:

• Copy of Valid Passport: International students must have their passport ready from their home country to enter in United States.

• All official transcripts must be submitted for approval at the credential agency.You must submit your transcripts for a course-by-course evaluation. These documents should be directly submitted to the transcript evaluation company.

•  Certified of graduation or Diploma of the Bachelors degree and the date it was conferred. 

• If English is not your native language, then the applicant must submit the below English requirements:
