About Brooklyn College
Founded in 1930, the Brooklyn College was the first public co-ed institution that offered liberal arts studies in New York City.
The institution’s first campus was set up in the busiest section of Downtown Brooklyn, within the umbrella of the Borough Hall & court buildings.
