The Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver mandates a minimum of two years of full-time work experience for its MBA programs. Specifically, the Executive MBA programme requires a substantial 10 years of work experience, with at least eight years in a managerial role.

On the other hand, the Business School at the University of Colorado Denver provides MBA programs that do not necessitate work experience:

- Professional MBA: No prior work experience or formal business education is required.
  
- One Year MBA: No prior work experience or formal business education is required.
  
International applicants applying to the One Year MBA programme must exhibit proficiency in both written and oral English. Minimum scores accepted are 90 (IBT) or 575 (PBT) for the TOEFL, and 6.5 for the IELTS.

The Denver MBA programme at the Daniels College of Business spans 21 months and offers specializations in Accounting, Business Analytics, Finance, Marketing, and Real Estate.
