The University of Georgia expects a minimum cumulative GPA of 3 on the 4-point scale for graduate admission. As per the official source, over 14,000 students who enrolled in UG programs for the class of 2028, scored 4 or higher. Yes, the University of Georgia gives out scholarships to international students. The details for the some of the UGA scholarships are given below:

  • Presidential Leadership Scholarship: USD 3,000 renewable which can be combined with Zell Miller / Hope Scholarship for Georgia residents and those who are non-residents, a Presidential Waiver of the out-of-state fees shall be included. Also, students must maintain full-time enrolment and 3.0 UGA GPA
  • Classic Scholarship: Non-Georgia residents may be offered annual, fully-renewable scholarships, providing a waiver of tuition and fees equal to the half differential between out-of-state and in-state costs. Currently, this scholarship provides a minimum value to each student of USD 9,520 per year (Around INR 7 lakh). Out-of-state residents must present a strong academic record. Students must maintain a full-time enrolment and 3.0 UGA GPA
