World Languages and Cultures Scholarships

Eligibility requirements for UG students
International students who want to pursue graduate courses at Valparaiso University must have a valid score indicating proof of English Language Requirement. They must submit the test score of different exams such as the ACT, SAT, IELTS, TOEFL, IGCSE A, and O Levels, iTEP, or International Baccalaureate (IB). Currently, Valparaiso University is also accepting the Duolingo Test scores due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Aspirants can appear for this test online from their homes. For aspirants who are permanent residents of Australia or the UK, English test scores are not needed.
Eligibility requirements for PG students
To pursue PG courses in any discipline, aspirants should have a valid UG degree from an accredited university or college. Aspirants must graduate with a 3.0 GPA (B-Average) in graduate and undergraduate coursework.
Eligibility requirements for Indian students
Indian students to pursue any UG or PG courses must take English proficiency tests. For instance, ACT, SAT, IELTS, TOEFL, IGCSE A, and O Levels, iTEP, or International Baccalaureate (IB), etc. They should submit two online recommendation letters from two professionals.
Valpo University has eight residence halls and two apartment buildings. Almost 1500 undergraduate students can live in these residential halls and apartment buildings.
For six-semester courses, first-year or junior students generally live in approved university housing. The first floor is traditionally reserved for upper-class students. Upper-class students generally reside in Guild/Memorial hall, Beacon hall, the Sorority Housing Complex, or Wehrenberg hall.
These residence halls are furnished with twin XL size beds and mattresses, a wardrobe, a desk and chair, and a dressing table. Students living in university apartments are provided with dining room furniture and a living room. In all residential facilities, dryers and washers are also available.
Internet facilities are available in every room. In all residential halls, there are wireless network services. In these residential halls, more than 75 channels are made available for entertainment. Most importantly, students can also enjoy movies from Valpo WiFi at movies.valpo.edu.
