Established in 1963, Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai (formerly known as NITIE Mumbai) is a Management institute located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. However, the CAT exam 2024 will be conducted on 24 November 2024. Currently, the last date of application has not been released. For PGDIM course admission, candidates must have satisfy the eligibility criteria and appear for the CAT entrance exam. IIM Mumbai Scholarships 2026
IIM Mumbai offers financial assistance to meritorious students. The scholarships are disbursed under the following schemes:
- GATE-qualified candidates are entitled to Teaching Assistantship (at present Rs.12400 per month) and contingency expenditure as per rules.
- SC/ST candidates are granted Central Sector Scholarship as per the scheme of Govt. of India subject to the satisfactory fulfilment of terms and conditions mentioned therein.
- 30% waiver of tuition fee: Any student entering the postgraduate programme whose total family income does not exceed Rs 2.50 lakh in the last financial year shall be eligible for this scholarship.
- 50% waiver of tuition fee: Any student entering the postgraduate programme whose total family income does not exceed Rs 1 lakh in the last financial year shall be eligible for this scholarship.

IIM Mumbai offers financial assistance in the form of financial assistance to PhD scholarships. During the first and second years of the PhD, students get INR 37,000 per month. It's depends on you if you don't want to take hostel, then you can live outside but I think in IIM Mumbai, for some courses like PGDIE, PGDIM hostels are compulsory.
