International students planning to enroll at Acadia University must go through a structured admission process that involves completing the application form, providing all necessary documents, paying the application fee, and other key steps. The admission process for international applicants at Acadia University is described below:
- Choose a program: Browse from an extensive selection of over 55 UG and graduate programs. Popular study streams include Engineering, Business & Management Studies, Law, Medicine & Health Sciences and Science.
- Submit documents: UG and graduate candidates must provide LOR and CV, and additional relevant files.
- Pay the application fee: After completing the application form with your personal and academic details and uploading the required documents, pay the non-refundable Acadia University application fee of CAD 40 for undergraduate programs and CAD 40 - 50 for postgraduate programs—to finalize your application.
- Await a decision: Following submission, you will receive a response from the university, either an offer letter or a rejection, by email within a few weeks.

All applications need to be supported by official copies of all high school or college transcripts and other records of academic work. The transcripts should be certified by the school/college/institution and should either be sent to Acadia directly or sealed in an envelope and given to the student to send. Certified transcripts acceptable to Acadia will be used as a basis of admission. English proficiency report and other standardized exam score reports also need to be attached with the application form. Although students can choose to stay off-campus in the welcoming town of Wolfville, the close-knit housing community of Acadia is no less warm and comfortable. There are 11 halls for residence purposes equipped with 24-hour on-call security that can house 1,500 students. There are rooms designed to suit everyone’s taste, ranging from high-rise to heritage and shared rooms to single deluxe suites. Students must pay a non-refundable deposit of CAD 200 and a CAD 40 residence campus programme fee. The housing expense greatly varies based on:
