University of Norther British Columbia Admission Process 2025
International applicants planning to apply for UNBC admission must follow the admission process, which is pretty straightforward if followed carefully. Applicants need to meet the admission requirements and fill out the application accordingly to avoid errors.
- You can explore and choose a course of your choice as per four interest from all the UG and PG level programs offered
- You must stick to the eligibility requirements for the program chosen. For UG you must have a high school diploma as a basic criterion, and for PG, a bachelor’s degree is necessary. You must also fulfill the English language proficiency requirements.
- As per the program chosen, you would need to submit their academic transcripts and English language test scores. You would also be required to submit documents like LOR, SOP, personal essays, ACT/SAT scores for UG programs, GMAT/GRE scores for PG programs, updated CV and work experience if any.
- Once all the requirements are met, documents are submitted, and the application form is filled, you will be required to pay the application fee of CAD 153 (INR 9.72 K), which is non-refundable
- UNBC usually takes about 2-4 weeks to process the application and send mails to students via mail of portal.
- You must apply for the Canadian student visa as soon as you receive the offer letter
- Applicants would be required to pay the first-year tuition fee, which varies with the level of the program.

For Graduate Programs: PG is offered in three intakes: Fall, Spring, and Winter. All programs are not offered in all the three intakes and application deadlines vary with different programs.

International applicants must apply for the Canada VISA process once they get the acceptance letter from the college to avoid complexities and delays. Students would need to pay a Canadian visa application fee after completion of the visa application process. University of Northern British Columbia MS Admissions 2025
University of Northern British Columbia offers MS programs specifically for individuals who are willing to grow careers in advanced fields with in depth training. The duration of the program is 18 months to 2 years. Programs are offered in several specializations like Psychology CS Health Science Natural and Environmental Studies etc. Tuition fees for programs lie in the range of INR 4 L - 5 L. The minimum eligibility requirements include meeting the academic requirements and English requirements, and submission of mandatory documents like academic records, updated CV or resume, LOR, SOP, GMAT or GRE scores as required, and employment history if any.

Students who complete their studies at a relevant high school and/or recognized post-secondary institution will be considered for admission. International applicants must be in good standing and demonstrate an acceptable level of proficiency in English. UNBC has country-specific academic requirements, thus, for Indian aspirants the requirements are as follows:
Undergraduate Admission
Students must have Class 12 or Standard XII Board Examination results issued by examination boards, such as ISC, GCSE, AISSCE, etc. For general entry, students should have a minimum average grade of 50% or higher in English Class 12, three academic subjects, and an elective. Apart from this, students who have a three-year diploma issued by a state board of education will also be accepted. A minimum average grade of 50% or higher is required for general entry.

Graduate Admissions
Indian graduate applicants should possess any of these academic qualifications from a university or institution accredited by India's National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a grade of A or better. GRE or GMAT may be required as per course requirements.
