VIU acknowledges an application from Indian students within two-eight weeks of receiving the same and notifies them via email for the next steps in the admission process.

Indian students are advised to scan and attach all their documents as part of the online application. This helps reduce time.

Note: Some PG and limited entry programs may have longer waiting time.

Indian students can apply directly or submit an admission application to VIU via one of our Shiksha Study Abroad counsellors (for FREE). 

To apply directly, follow the below steps:

• Register on the official VIU application portal
• Check the program requirements and gather the required documents;
• Complete the online application;
• Pay the non-refundable Vancouver Island University application fee
• Aftew review, submit the application

In order to study Vancouver Island University MBA, international students must fulfill certain admission requirements and they are mentioned below:

• Must have a UG degree from a business or non-business discipline;
• A minimum “B” average in the last two years of UG degree;
• Letter of introduction explaining how the MBA will contribute to career plans;
• A Resume describes education, work, and volunteer experience;
• Two letters of recommendation;
• Minimum one year of work experience is required;
• No GMAT (entrance examination) score is required; and
• Must meet one of VIU’s English Language requirements for Graduate Programs (IELTS: 6.5 | TOEFL-iBT: 88 | PTE: 60).
