HEC Paris History
HEC Paris Business School was founded in 1881 by Gustave Emmanuel Roy, president of CCIP (Paris Chamber of Commerce) and the Alumni Association of the institute was established by the year 1883. The new campus of HEC Paris was shifted from Paris to a new location in 1964 and was inaugurated by General De Gaulle. The current Executive Education program was created at the institute in 1967 and the current MBA program was started in 1969. The PhD course at HEC Paris was founded in 1975 and the institute had become the first business school to gain AMBA, EQUIS and AACSB accreditations in 2000. In the year 2010, HEC Paris became a member of Qatar Foundation and launched its first online MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship program in 2017.
